The Walking Dead Season 5 DVD And Blu-Ray Release Date

Although The Walking Dead’s fifth season just came to a close less than a week ago, we’ve already gotten news as to when the Blu-ray, Digital HD, and DVD box set would be available for purchase. That news came in a press release issued on March 31st from Tim Williams of Anchor Bay Entertainment. Here is what was said:

"“The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season” will be released on Blu-ray™ + Digital HD and DVD on August 25th. Just like the award winning previous home entertainment releases, “The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season” will dazzle viewers with state-of-the-art video and audio presentations.More information, including bonus feature content, technical specs, and limited edition will be available soon."

Included in the promotional material is a picture of what the packaging for the 5 disc set of The Walking Dead’s season 5 DVD release will look like. As said in the release, we’ll get more information soon about the bonus features, commentary tracks, technical specifications and more as that news becomes available.

There is sure to be a limited edition package for The Walking Dead’s season 5 DVD set with a keepsake and some other bonuses. We’ll be sure to pass along what is included in that set when it is announced.

Fans of The Walking Dead will want to preorder The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season on DVD or Blu-ray and be ready to pick it up when it is released on August 25, 2015.
