Even though the season 5 finale of The Walking Dead just finished up about 10 days ago, that doesn’t mean that the information surrounding the popular AMC drama will stop flowing in.  In fact, with the companion series Fear The Walking Dead coming soon and filming set to begin on season 6 of The Walking Dead, news might just keep coming as fast and furious as ever.

That’s just the case when it was reported today by the Newnan Times-Herald that Mike Riley, who is the Location Manager for The Walking Dead, has arrived in Senoia, Georgia to prepare for filming.  According to the article, not a lot of information was given about the upcoming filming schedule or needs for the show’s filming areas, but instead he was there to thank Senoia for their help and let them know that things could get busy soon.

Here is what was said in the article:

"“Riley didn’t come with any specific requests or details on when filming would begin for the next season, but said he was just there to “let you know I’m back in town” and thank the council for their continued support.Riley said he’ll probably be back to ask for some street closings and “other things of that nature.”“I’ll know a little bit more later in the month. I don’t really have that much information right now,” Riley said.”"
