Laurie Holden Teases Possible Return to The X-Files

Before Laurie Holden was Andrea on The Walking Dead, she was pretty well known for her work on the massively popular television show The X-Files.

While on The X-Files, Laurie Holden played a character named Marita Covarrubias who was in 10 episodes.  Her character was initially introduced as an informant for one episode but her role was reprised on several other occasions, making her a familiar face to fans of the franchise.

Recently, it was announced that The X-Files would be returning to television and, of course, people are getting curious as to who will be included in the show when it comes back.

A fan on Twitter with the handle @russburlingame tweeted Laurie Holden to see if she’d spill the beans about a possible appearance when The X-Files returns.  Here is what she said:

While “Who knows…” is far from a yes or no answer, it doesn’t close the door on the possibility.  Fans of The X-Files and The Walking Dead might be tuning in to see Laurie Holden if she is cast to return to the show.  While we won’t know more about her status on the show until a much later date, we’ll keep you up to date if we learn any new information.

On a personal note, I loved watching The X-Files and really enjoyed Laurie Holden’s performance on the show.  I hope that she can reprise her role and help bring back some great television memories.
