Fans of The Walking Dead know Lawrence Gilliard Jr. as Bob Stookey, but soon they can see him on the hit USA television series ‘Graceland’.

The Walking Dead’s Bob hit his peak of popularity during the show’s 5th season, but sadly that was also where we said our goodbyes to him.  The good news is that his exit from the show doesn’t mean that we say goodbye to him forever.  According to a recent exclusive scoop on the Entertainment Weekly website, Lawrence Gilliard Jr. will join the third season of the hit USA show Graceland.

Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is slated to play Special Agent in Charge Sean Logan on Graceland.  The description of his role on the EW website is a pretty intense one.  Here is what they described his role on the show as:

"“The Walking Dead’s Gilliard will play Special Agent in Charge Sean Logan, a man whose only concern is to complete the task at hand by any means necessary. Tough, uncompromising, and smart, Logan is keen on bringing down the deadly Sarkissian crime family and manages to strong-arm Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) into going undercover and sidle with Ari Adamian (Entourage’s Coiro). Ari is a handsome, unpredictable potential heir to an Armenian crime family.”"

I have to admit that I’ve never watched Graceland, so these storylines and names are not familiar for me.  However, the addition of Lawrence Gilliard Jr. to the show’s cast has me much more interested to check out the show.  I have several friends who are addicted to this show, but don’t watch The Walking Dead.  (I know, crazy…right?)  I’m happy they’ll get to see Gilliard’s great acting on a show that they love.

Watch for Graceland to make their return to USA on Thursday, June 25th.  As always, be sure to check your local listings for actual time and availability.
