Meet Michael Rooker At 2015 Wizard World Minneapolis Comic Con

Fans of The Walking Dead in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area from May 1, 2015 through May 3, 2015 can head on over to the Minneapolis Convention Center for the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con. Individuals there have the opportunity to meet the man who played Merle Dixon on the popular AMC television show The Walking Dead, Michael Rooker.

While many other Wizard World Comic Cons offer more guests from The Walking Dead, several guests had to cancel due to filming obligations. Among those that couldn’t attend the show, but were initially scheduled to were Alanna Masterson (Tara Chambler), Christian Serratos (Rosita Espinosa), and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford).

While it’s hard to make up for 3 members of The Walking Dead family not being there, I can personally say that Michael Rooker is a fantastic person to see if you get the chance. He tells great stories during his panel and is fantastic during photo ops. Plus, he’s been in other great projects like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Mallrats, and The Driving Dead series from the State of Illinois.

And if you’re a fan of comic books, you can get a ‘The Walking Dead #1’ Limited Edition Exclusive Variant Cover By Clayton Crain. If you aren’t into the comics, that’s okay too. That comic will be given away to all guests at Wizard World and there is no better way to get started with The Walking Dead’s comic book series than with the first issue in the series.
