The Walking Dead Season 6 Looking To Cast Billy and Ben Twins?

The Walking Dead Season 6 is looking to cast twins in upcoming episodes, but how large will the roles be and will they be familiar characters?

We have months to go until the premiere of the new season of The Walking Dead on AMC, but the filming of the upcoming season is something we’re all very much paying attention to. While the regulars like Daryl, Rick and others will be back in The Walking Dead Season 6, it’s the new characters that we want to know about and learn how they fit in the grand scheme of things.

Recent casting calls for the show — which have since been rescinded or hidden — seem to tip the productions hand as to what they’re thinking about the upcoming episodes of the show.

According to a casting call for The Walking Dead Season 6, the series is looking to cast two male twins for roles that might end up being bigger than just a throwaway cameo to the Billy and Ben characters from the comic books.

"Starting the week of May 18, male twins will also be needed for “a very featured role” as well. In contrast to the detailed requirements for the female character, the posting merely asks that applicants send in a recent photo and contact info."

The basic speculation is that the Billy and Ben characters from the early days of the comic books are going to make and appearance in the series in a cameo role. But that’s not the case if this casting call is going to be taken seriously, as it’s mentioned that the roles are ‘very featured’ — which flies in the face of the meaning of cameo.

We will have to wait until filming gets deeper into production to find out more about these new characters and the role they play, but the speculation is building and it’s a fun time to watch the new season of the show come together.
