The Walking Dead Season 6 Rumors: Daryl Will Have A Love Interest?

The Walking Dead Season 6 is still months away, but these could be the final months we spend without a love interest for Daryl Dixon.

We are months away from any sort of movement from The Walking Dead Season 6 in terms of seeing what is next for the series, but we are starting to put together pieces of the puzzle that give us insight into what we might see.

Daryl Dixon is one of the most popular characters on the series, and he could be getting a love interest that by default makes another character on the show insanely popular — or unpopular. It’ll be like when the star quarterback in high school gets a girlfriend, as Daryl Dixon’s love interest would be instantly popular.

Then again, she could be wildly unpopular thanks to the fact that she’s taking a fictional character off the non-existent dating scene.

Either way, according to a recent casting rumor, it appears that we could see a love interest enter the equation for Daryl in The Walking Dead Season 6:

"She’d much rather stay safely inside her comfort zone, but the true test of her mettle comes when the comfort’s gone and the stakes are life and death. She’s not cynical and really cares about people."

This comes after rumors were that Daryl Dixon would be revealed as gay, something Norman Reeds admitted he would be down for doing.

It’ unclear if this character will even have anything to do with Daryl, but the bottom line is that something could happen with his love interest in The Walking Dead Season 6. Daryl has been through a lot in losing Beth and then Noah, and his rough exterior could use some love and his hardened soul could use caressing.
