Colman Domingo Added To Fear The Walking Dead Cast
By Adam Carlson
Another cast member has been added to the highly anticipated Summer companion show Fear The Walking Dead. Deadline announced today that Colman Domingo would be joining a very strong cast of actors and actresses involved in the project, including Mercedes Mason, Ruben Blades, Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey.
At this time, the role that Colman Domingo will play on Fear The Walking Dead is unknown, as are many details about the zombie survival drama. However, he does have solid acting credentials, including roles in films like Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Lincoln, Selma and True Crime.
In addition to those, Colman Domingo has also spent a considerable amount of time on the small screen, which should benefit him going into Fear The Walking Dead. He’s been in big shows like Nash Bridges, The Big Gay Sketch Show, and most recently The Knick.
Also, Colman Domingo is currently in the process of working alongside Armie Hammer in the film The Birth of a Nation.
Fear The Walking Dead continues to add actors to the show’s cast despite the first season of the program only being set to have a six-episode run. Still, it is exciting to see that the show is bringing in so much talent for a show with such high expectations being associated with it.
It will be interesting to see how Fear The Walking Dead is received this Summer when it airs on AMC. Being associated with one of the most popular shows on television should raise the bar for the program, and judging by the cast, this is a show that could deliver.
