By Adam Carlson
Wizard World is continuing their tour with a stop in Sacramento, California for their highly anticipated Comic Con event. If you’re not familiar with Wizard World, they are responsible for bringing celebrities and artists from all forms of media together for an event consisting of photographs, autographs and question-and-answer sessions.
While Scott Wilson who played Hershel Greene on The Walking Dead was forced to cancel his appearance due to filming, there are still several great reasons to attend the 2015 Wizard World in Sacramento. Including all the great merchandise on sale and beautiful artwork, there are also opportunities to meet two stars and one artist for The Walking Dead!
Here is the current list of guests from The Walking Dead who are currently scheduled to appear at the 2015 Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con:
Norman Reedus
- Known for his work on The Walking Dead as the crossbow toting Dixon brother, Daryl, Norman Reedus is one of the most popular actors on the show. He also has a cult following from his work on the popular Boondock Saints film series. He is scheduled to be in attendance on Saturday, June 20th.
Christian Serratos
- While Christian isn’t quite a popular as Norman, she’s a star on the rise. She was in the blockbuster Twilight series and currently plays the lovely Rosita Espinosa on The Walking Dead. Recently, she was featured in a pictorial for Playboy magazine. Serratos will be available on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st.
M. Jason Reed
- Reed isn’t part of the hit AMC show, but he does have a part in The Walking Dead’s universe. Reed is a sketch card artist who lends his work to the insanely collectible Cryptozoic Entertainment trading card series. He will be available in “Artists Alley” of Wizard World.
In addition to those awesome actors and actresses from The Walking Dead, there is also something special that Wizard World Sacramento is doing for fans of the undead. A special edition of The Walking Dead #1 comic book with a variant cover will be available for everyone attending the event with a variant black and white version for the VIP ticket holders. Here is the description on the Wizard World website:
"“Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento Attendees to Receive ‘The Walking Dead #1’ Limited Edition Exclusive Variant Cover By Eisner Award Winner Paolo Rivera, June 19-21”"
