Conan O’Brien Spoofs ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ [VIDEO]
By Adam Carlson
When it was announced that Fear The Walking Dead would be set in Los Angeles, California, it was easy to image palm trees, beaches, and sunny weather. However, for those that know L.A. better than those that have never visited the city (such as myself) it brings to mind things like shopping, Hollywood, and, of course, traffic.
Because of that, the show ‘Conan’ over to TBS decided to make a little spoof of Fear The Walking Dead that people who are much more familiar with Los Angeles might appreciate.
Here is the video from the official Team Coco YouTube account:
As fans of The Walking Dead, we know that the walkers don’t quite have the capability to drive vehicles or even be frustrated. But the idea of a walker being stuck in traffic and pounding his head against the steering wheel is something that I’m sure many drivers can relate to. And it’s especially funny when the zombie does it to the rhythm of another car honking its horn. However, that zombie had better be careful. We all know that it doesn’t take much of a blow to the head to kill a walker anymore.
Conan O’Brien has been a guest on AMC’s Talking Dead and is known to be a big fan of The Walking Dead. In fact, many actors and actresses are regulars on Conan because of that love. He, like many fans of AMC’s original zombie drama, is likely anticipating the premiere of Fear The Walking Dead this Summer.
The nighttime talk show Conan can be seen each weeknight on TBS at 11 pm Eastern/10 pm Central. Head on over to the official Team Coco website for more details.
