Over the course of The Walking Dead, there have been many relationships.  Some have been adorable, like Maggie and Glenn.  Others have been trying, such as Rick and Lori.  But it’s always been fun to try to figure out who the next couple will be on the hit AMC show.

Much of the speculation involving relationships has involved Daryl Dixon.  Arguably the most popular character on The Walking Dead, Daryl has had hardcore fans wishing for him to have relationships with several characters on the show, including Beth Greene and Carol Peletier.  While those romances never seemed to happen, a new potential coupling has been born after a teaser video about season 6 of The Walking Dead was made available.

During that video, Michael Cudlitz was talking to Danai Gurira (who plays Michonne on The Walking Dead) when seemingly out of nowhere, Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) swooped in and planted a big kiss on her.  In fact, he even took a screen shot of that moment from the video and uploaded it to his Instagram account.

Here is the picture in question:

Norman Reedus captioned the photo with the words “dichonne love”.  People who ship (imagine couplings of people) usually adopt names like this by combining the two potential lovebirds names.  For example, ‘Dichonne’ is a combination of Daryl and Michonne.

Amanda Bell over at MTV absolutely loves this idea.  In fact, she put together an article with six reasons why The Walking Dead should make these two the next power couple on the show.  Included in the reasoning is their unspoken bond, potential to be a deadly duo and excellent survival skills.

What do you guys think?  Would you like to see Daryl Dixon and Michonne hook up during season 6 of The Walking Dead?  Do you see a better coupling for these characters?  Or would you rather they both stay as relative loners in the world of the undead?  Let me know what you think in the comments below.
