The Walking Dead Vs Game Of Thrones At Comic Con With Conan

Fans have been debating the merits of AMC’s The Walking Dead against those of HBO’s Game of Thrones for years now.  At the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con International in San Diego, California on July 10th, we’ll finally get so see them go head-to-head!

Conan O’Brien will be in attendance on Comic Con with a full slate of activities all week involving start from popular television shows and movies for his popular TBS show Conan.  Friday will be the day that The Walking Dead will have 4 cast members on hand to take on 4 cast members from Game of Thrones in a comic showdown.

Here is the description according to Entertainment Weekly:

"“July 10, sees an invasion of two hit TV shows: Game of Thrones cast members Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Natalie Dormer, Conleth Hill, Hannah Murray, Sophie Turner, Carice Van Houten and Maisie Williams will battle for comedic supremacy, with Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Stephen Yuen and Danai Gurira.”"

I have to admit, that I was a bit disappointed that Josh McDermitt isn’t a part of Team The Walking Dead.  As a former comedian and contestant on Last Comic Standing, he has a long history of stand-up and improv that could help the team

We’ve seen Lauren Cohan on the Comedy Central show @midnight show off her comedy chops successfully, and we know Steven Yeun is hilarious from his times on Conan, however Danai Gurira and Norman Reedus are both wild cards that could prove to make the difference during the comedy competition.

Conan can be seen every weeknight at 11 pm eastern/10 pm central on TBS.  Be sure to watch the showdown between The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones on Friday, July 10, 2015.  The rest of the week, Conan will have folks like Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, Elijah Wood, and stars from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.  Don’t miss any of the approaching hilarity.
