The Walking Dead Season 6 Official Comic-Con Trailer
By Adam Carlson
After months without seeing our favorite characters from AMC’s The Walking Dead doing something fresh and new, the trailer for season 6 of the popular zombie survival drama has finally premiered at Wizard World’s 2015 Comic-Con International in San Diego, California today.
Although many fans have already viewed the trailer, as it leaked to the internet yesterday, the official version is there for us to help make what we saw more clear. For others, this is their first opportunity to see what lies in store for them when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 11th.
Here is the official video from the AMC YouTube account:
Fans of Daryl Dixon might want to stay tuned until the very end. The rough redneck finds himself in a rather worrisome situation that could put the future of his character in jeopardy. Since Daryl is (arguably) the most popular character on the show, this is sure to ruffle the feathers of many individuals who watch The Walking Dead.
In addition, there are several other things in the video that are a bit crazy. The massive amounts of walkers, the conflict between survivors, and the questioning of Rick Grimes’ authority will all take center stage during The Walking Dead’s sixth season.
One thing to remember about The Walking Dead’s trailers: they aren’t always what they seem. The folks on the show are masters at editing footage to misdirect and mislead viewers. Because of that, it’s hard to take much of the scenes that are shown at their face value, but instead we can appreciate just getting a taste of what the show will be like.
As always, stick with Undead Walking for more information on The Walking Dead’s sixth season as it becomes available. As more leaks, spoilers, and casting news happen, we’ll be sure to give you a heads up on what is going on in The Walking Dead’s universe.
