Fear The Walking Dead: new promotional poster released
By Adam Carlson
Fear The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC on August 23rd. There is a lot of excitement about the upcoming series, as we are finally going to get to see how society reacted to the initial stages of the outbreak that causes the dead to come back to life.
During Wizard World’s 2015 Comic-Con International in San Diego, California, we were treated to a trailer for the show that helped us understand what to expect, but there is still plenty of time between now and August 23rd to get more teasers and photos.
A new poster was released today for Fear The Walking Dead that actually shows a walker! Check it out below:
I love basketball as much as the next guy, but when there’s a zombie making its way down the street in your direction, you get the heck out of there. Of course, the two ballers in the picture are likely unaware of the approaching walker and even if they did notice it, they probably have no idea what it is.
That’s the appeal of Fear The Walking Dead. The idea that these people are oblivious to the horror that about to hit them is the massive appeal to the program. In addition to that, it’s also great that there is no source material, such as comic books or novels, that the show is based on.
What do you think? Does this artwork help get you excited for Fear The Walking Dead? Or do you feel this promotional artwork falls flat on its face? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
