The Walking Dead’s fifth season will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 25, 2015.  That 5-disc set will be loaded with deleted scenes, features, commentary and many other extras for fans of the hit AMC zombie survival drama to see for the very first time.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait until the release of the DVD to get a look at all the extras that come with the set.  Earlier this month, we shared a deleted scene between Rick Grimes and Michonne.  Thanks to Anchor Bay Entertainment and Starz Media, we now have another piece of media to check out before the release of The Walking Dead’s season 5 DVD set.

As you can see, this featurette centers around Noah.  It features commentary by executive producers Gale Anne Hurd​ and Greg Nicotero, Steven Yeun (Glenn), Tyler James Williams (Noah) and other cast members from AMC’s The Walking Dead.  They discuss his journey from Grady Memorial Hospital to Alexandria and what it meant for him along the way.

It’s a great insight into the character of Noah and why the character acts the way he does and what his motivation was during some of his selfless acts.  In particular, the scene involving the revolving door with Noah, Glenn, and Nicholas is broken down by the actors in the scene and they discuss what it meant to them.

The Walking Dead season 5 DVD and Blu-Ray sets will be for sale at local retailers on August 25, 2015 and are available for pre-order on most major websites right now in both a standard and limited edition format.  Don’t miss out on what was one of the best seasons of the show, as this looks to be a must-own for fans of the undead survival drama.
