The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land features Daryl Dixon
By Adam Carlson
The world’s obsession with Daryl Dixon is still going strong. Perhaps that is why The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land will feature the crossbow toting redneck in their new mobile game.
News that Dixon would be a focal point in The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land was announced today during an announcement on the official AMC Facebook account. The post also gave us a little more information about the mobile game, stating that it will be available for download this October on iOS operating systems.
Here is the video that was shared along with the announcement from the official AMC YouTube page:
After watching the video, there are a couple of things that stood out. The voice acting wasn’t quite astounding and the gameplay lacks to power of the cutscenes, but having insanely high expectations for a mobile game is asking a lot from Next Games.
In essence, this is a real-time strategy game where you pit your survivors against walkers and rival humans in order to survive. The game also visits some of the locations from AMC’s The Walking Dead, including the prison and Terminus.
More details about The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land will be released before the game makes its debut, and we’ll do our best to keep you up to date on the major announcements. Personally, I’m hoping that this game is also made available on Android operating systems, as I don’t currently own any Apple devices that I could use for gaming.
What do you think? Does the inclusion of Daryl Dixon make The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land more appealing? Or do you think it was a tacky addition in order to cash in on the popularity of Norman Reedus’ character? And is this a game that you would consider purchasing?
