The Walking Dead season 5 Netflix release date

While AMC’s The Walking Dead is one of the most popular shows on television, there are some fans who like to wait until they can binge watch the entire season at one time. Some of those folks got their wish recently, as The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 25, 2015. However, other fans will wait until the entire season is available on Netflix.

There is some good news and some bad news for those fans. The good news is that The Walking Dead’s fifth season will be on Netflix beginning September 27, 2015 according to the folks over at USA Today. The bad news is that it doesn’t leave much time for folks to catch up before October 11, 2015, when season 6 of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC.

All 16 episodes will be available, including the 90 minute season premiere and season finale. This is a great opportunity for fans of the show to catch up or refresh themselves before season 6 starts in October.

However, this is an even better chance for people who have never watched the show to start. Right now, the first four seasons of The Walking Dead are available on Netflix for those who have somehow never seen the show or want to give it a second chance. Personally, I recommend that you find someone who has never seen the show, put on season 1 episode 1 titled ‘Days Gone Bye’ and just watch their face. It’s a lot of fun if you haven’t ever done this.

Be sure to check out The Walking Dead’s fifth season when it is available on Netflix starting September 27, 2015. It’s a ferociously good time! Just make sure to avoid the biters, walkers, geeks and zombies until then.
