Fear The Walking Dead: ‘The Dog’ promos and episode info
By Adam Carlson
Fear The Walking Dead hit the ground running during the second episode titled “So Close, Yet So Far”. After an encouraging, but slightly slow series premiere in “Pilot”, this was just the boost that the show needed to keep people interested.
Luckily for those who enjoy Fear The Walking Dead, the third episode of season one titled “The Dog” looks to keep that momentum rolling.
To prepare for the episode, let’s take a look at the episode information that we have going into the program:
Season 1 Episode 3: “The Dog”
- Directed by: Adam Davidson
- Written by: Jack LoGuidice
- U.S. AMC Air Date: September 13, 2015
- U.K. AMC Air Date: September 21, 2015
Episode synopsis:
"“After they escape a riot, Travis, Liza and Chris seek refuge with the Salazars; Madison defends her home.”"
So far, there have been two promotional teaser videos released for Fear The Walking Dead: “The Dog”. The first is hosted on the official AMC YouTube account.
This Fear The Walking Dead teaser opens with Travis and his son Chris in the white pickup truck with a broken windshield driving slowly toward their destination. In the back of the truck, all 3 members of the Salazar family are present along with Liza. Around the truck, there is chaos. Medical personnel and law enforcement officials are attempting to control the area while police lights flash. In the background, you can see walkers approaching the police officers from a smoky building, and then the officers opening fire on the undead.
The second teaser comes to us from the TrimView Promos YouTube account. This is the video that aired at the end of episode 2 of Fear The Walking Dead. Here is that video:
This teaser jumps around a lot. It shows a walker staring down Travis inside the Salazar barber shop. The walls are heating up, signalling that there is a fire in the next room and they are forced to flee. Meanwhile, Madison’s house loses electricity and it is discovered that someone is inside their house.
The promo repeats, and I’m not sure why…but it gets the point across.
Be sure to tune in to AMC on September 13, 2015 when Fear The Walking Dead returns from a one week break. Check your local listings for actual time and availability.
