The Walking Dead season 6: ‘Shadows’ teaser video
By Adam Carlson
The wait until the new season of The Walking Dead is a little different heading into season 6. Not only have we had a great number of teasers, interviews, spoilers, rumors, and behind the scenes info, but we have also had the companion series titled ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ to help hold us over.
A recent video teasing season 6 take the approach of focusing on the characters instead of using clips of action from the hit AMC zombie survival drama. It is an interesting contrast to the explosions, gunfire, and drama of the season 6 Comic Con trailer, but still is a powerful piece of art that should inspire fans to look forward to the premiere.
Here is the video from the official AMC YouTube account:
Featured in the video are many characters from The Walking Dead, including Daryl Dixon, Maggie Greene, Glenn Rhee, Carl Grimes, Michonne, Abraham Ford, Sasha Williams, Carol Peletier, Morgan Jones, and Rick Grimes. While some of the missing characters are interesting to note (such as Rosita Espinosa, Eugene Porter, and Father Gabriel Stokes) perhaps the most interesting thing is one involves one of the featured characters.
Maybe it’s just me, but Carl Grimes doesn’t look like a boy anymore. In this video, he looks less and less like that little boy who had to be protected and was warned to stay in the house and more like someone who can be a major contributor for the community of Alexandria.
Which characters are you most looking forward to seeing when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 11, 2015 for the season 6 premiere? Let me know in the comments below.
