It felt a little weird when watching AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead not to see Chris Hardwick pop up on our television screens following an episode of the zombie survival drama franchise.  Thankfully, that won’t be the case for the second season of the show, as Talking Dead will now air immediately after Fear The Walking Dead in season 2.

On The Nerdist’s website, AMC’s president Charlie Collier toasted the addition of Talking Dead to the Fear The Walking Dead family.

"“Here’s to season two and the weekly addition of ‘Talking Dead’ led by the incomparable Chris Hardwick. Of course, biggest thanks to the fans who have joined us on the ‘Fear’ journey.”"

Fear The Walking Dead was a major success for AMC, as the show accumulated the highest ratings for any show’s first season in cable television history.  It was likely a no-brainer (no pun intended) to add Hardwick’s popular recap and interview show Talking Dead to the AMC’s popular companion series.  Not only will it keep viewers on the channel longer, but it will allow for the replay of Fear The Walking Dead to be pushed back another hour and keep more of the hit zombie programming on the network.

Fear The Walking Dead’s second season and the Talking Dead episodes that will follow do not currently have an air date, but we’ll keep you informed of that as soon as the information is released.  If Fear The Walking Dead can continue to grow from the end of the first season, Chris Hardwick and the folks on Talking Dead could have a lot of great things to talk about in the future.
