The Walking Dead Season 6: Kirkman says big cliffhangers every episode
By Susie Graham
The Walking Dead Season 6 promises to be huge. Last season on Talking Dead, Scott Gimple sent a message for Chris Hardwick to read promising “loud and scary” for season 6. All summer we’ve been clamoring for any news we can find. San Diego Comic-Con provided us with a trailer and some art and interviews in July.
We’ve had more art and interviews and information to report in the last month that has really amped up the excitement. Just the other day, Comic Book Resources shared that Robert Kirkman revealed at the New York Comic Con that each episode will have big cliffhangers.
"“This is going to be the most intense season of ‘Walking Dead’ yet. Big cliffhangers at the end of every episode. I’m watching cuts and I go, ‘I gotta watch the next one!’”"
That’s very exciting to me. I think Walking Dead never really stopped having something at the end of each episode that was exciting enough to make you want to see the next episode, but I remember many episodes when I first watched when I couldn’t believe how it ended and I was so glad I was binge watching and didn’t have to wait a week.
This is going to be the most intense season of ‘Walking Dead’ yet. Big cliffhangers at the end of every episode. I’m watching cuts and I go, ‘I gotta watch the next one!’
I remember when I first discovered
The Walking Dead,
I told the guy who turned me on to it, “How am I going to survive when I have to wait a week in between?” He said, “Wait until you have to go the whole summer!” Of course, now I’ve gone 2 whole summers. And yes, it’s torture!
But I love that feeling at the end of an episode when something so great happens that you can’t wait until the next Sunday comes. You have to watch the episode over and over again all week long just to help you make it through.
Big cliffhangers, here we come! The only thing that’s never a cliffhanger is whether or not we are going to keep watching every week.
