The Walking Dead’s sixth season is moving along quickly, and with that we already have some information about the fifth episode of this season.  Thanks to the folks over at SpoilerTV, we now know a bit more about what episode 5 is about, along with an episode title.

Here is what we know so far:

Carol. The Walking Dead - AMC
Carol. The Walking Dead – AMC /

Episode number:  Season 6 episode 5

  • Episode title:  “Now”
  • U.S. Air Date:  November 8, 2015
  • Directed by:  Avi Youabian
  • Written by:  Corey Reed
  • Episode synopsis:  “Following a number of setbacks, the mood in Alexandria grows grim for the sheltered citizens.”
  • There’s no real surprise that the people of Alexandria have a grim mood.  They’re already dealing with the death of their medical professional at the hands of Rick Grimes, an assault by The Wolves, and a massive horde of walkers.  At this point, it would be hard for morale to be high among the town’s residents and there has to be some finger-pointing and blame being passed around.

It’s hard to call the slaughtering for many Alexandrians a “setback”, but when you’re on show like The Walking Dead, death and despair go hand in hand.  Sadly, the people of the community don’t know much about that, as they’ve been surviving inside the walled community for most of the zombie apocalypse.

This episode will follow the 90-minute episode which will be the fourth episode of season 6.  It should be a great episode and it is definitely one to circle on your calendar if you’re a fan of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
