The Walking Dead coming to The Escapists on PS4 in February

The Escapists: The Walking Dead has been available on Steam and Xbox One for about a month, but it will debut on the PS4 in February of 2016.
The Walking Dead is a very hot property. Just about anything it touches turns to gold. When it was announced that indie game series The Escapists would be adding the popular zombie property to their game series, fans went nuts and made it one of the most popular add-ons for Xbox One and Steam.
Now, folks on the PS4 will have the opportunity to play as their favorite characters from The Walking Dead on The Escapists. Starting February 16, 2016, the Playstation store will carry the popular video game and add-on for gamers interested in the series.
Team17’s Grant Towell talked about the game on the PlayStation Blog:
"“Starting the game, you’ll take on the role of iconic protagonist Rick Grimes as he wakes up in the Harrison Memorial Hospital. This first tutorial level matches that very first issue of The Walking Dead comic, and sees Rick encounter his first walkers in the hospital.”"

The hospital isn’t the only location from the hit comic book series that is available in The Escapists: The Walking Dead. Towell went on to talk about some of the other locations that are available to explore.
"“The levels follow the time line of the comics, seeing Rick travel to various locations such as the Greene Family Farm, Meriwether Correctional Facility, Woodbury and Alexandria. In fact, our game spans right up to around issue 83 of the comic!”"
If you’re not familiar with The Escapists, a tie-in with The Walking Dead might just be exactly what you need to get started. With the platforms for the game expanding, PS4 owners can now enjoy what Xbox One and Steam players have been doing for a while now.
