Fear The Walking Dead adds Arturo del Puerto to the cast

It has been announced that actor Arturo del Puerto has been added to the cast of AMC’s record-breaking zombie companion series Fear The Walking Dead.
Fear The Walking Dead has been filming the second season of their hit show in Mexico, but the location won’t be the only new thing that fans will get from the show. Recently, there has been some chatter about an interesting new character that we will meet when the zombie survival drama program returns to AMC.
Thanks to an article on the Deadline website, we now know that veteran Arturo del Puerto has joined the cast. Del Puerto is known for his recent role in the smash film Ride Along 2 along with his past gigs on hit shows like Chicago P.D. and The Bridge. He also has some big projects lined up for release soon, including Independence Day 2 and a film version of CHiPs.
Deadline says that Arturo del Puerto will play the recurring role of a character named Carlos. Carlos is a very protected person but also offers a “spiritual understanding of the world”. At this time, there is no information about how this character is met or how he will interact with the current cast of the Fear The Walking Dead, but he should be a solid addition to the cast.

Speaking of the cast, Fear The Walking Dead already boasts an impressive group of actors. Regulars Kim Dickens (Madison Clark), Cliff Curtis (Travis Manawa), Frank Dillane (Nick Clark), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia Clark), Mercedes Mason (Ofelia Salazar), Lorenzo James Henrie (Chris Manawa), Ruben Blades (Daniel Salazar) and Coleman Domingo (Victor Strand) are set to return to the zombie apocalypse for season 2.
The cast will take to the sea to attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse on Victor Strand’s boat Abigail after learning about the horrors the walkers can bring in season 1.

Fear The Walking Dead will come back to AMC on Sunday, April 10, 2016 for season 2. There is bound to be a lot more drama and intrigue in store for the survivors, so don’t miss the debut of Arturo del Puerto as well the return of the other show’s cast members. It looks to be can’t-miss programming for fans of any zombie survival series.
