The Walking Dead Redcap Collection includes Daryl and Travis
By Adam Carlson
The Redcap Collection was announced by McFarlane Toys and includes The Walking Dead season 8 figures and new addition Fear The Walking Dead’s Travis Manawa.
McFarlane Toys has been making quality figures for The Walking Dead since December of 2011, but getting all of the unique versions of each character or collecting one of each can be extremely difficult considering how hard some of these toys are to find. Luckily for some fans, The Redcap Collection has been announced.
Spanning multiple forms of media, the Redcap Collection will be new to McFarlane Toys in 2016 and has characters from hit television shows, video games, comics and other sources like AMC’s The Walking Dead, Attack on Titan, Spawn, Gears of War and much, much more.
The Redcap Collection from The Walking Dead features one of the most popular characters on the television series, Daryl Dixon, as well Glenn Rhee and a new addition to the action figure market, Fear The Walking Dead‘s Travis Manawa.
The introduction of action figures from Fear the Walking Dead gives hope that additional characters will be honored by McFarlane Toys. It would be nice to see them offer great characters like Madison Clark, Nick Clark, Alicia Clark, Victor Strand, and, a favorite of ours at Undead Walking, Tobias.
There are many other figures included in the collection from The Walking Dead. There is an entire set from series 8 that will be available, which has the following characters packaged together:
- Bob Stookey
- Carol Peletier
- Dale Horvath
- Eugene Porter
- Morgan Jones
- Rick Grimes
- Tyreese Williams
More news regarding McFarlane Toys and their Redcap Collection should be available on February 13, 2016 at the New York Toy Fair. As of now, there is not an available street date for these items and there may be some changes made to what is available before the figures hit the streets, but nothing major should be expected as far as changes.
