The Walking Dead Vol. 25 includes free Outcast #1 comic

Fans who purchase Volume 25: “No Turning Back” in The Walking Dead series will receive a free copy of Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment’s Outcast #1.
On March 30, 2016, Volume 25 of The Walking Dead‘s comic book series will be released. It is titled “No Turning Back” and will contain issues #145-150. It will tell the story of Rick Grimes and the survivors of Alexandria attempting to pull themselves together after a devastating attack on their community. While this alone is enough to warrant buying Volume 25, there is now another reason to put your hard earned money down for it.
Fans that buy this volume will be in for a bit of a special treat. It was recently announced that an issue of Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics’ Outcast will be included with “No Turning Back” at no additional cost according to a recent posting on the Image Comics website.
For those not familiar with Outcast, it is another great comic book series from creator of The Walking Dead Robert Kirkman. But this universe is quite different from that of the zombie apocalypse that some fans have grown accustomed to from him. The series maintains the same dark feel, just centers around a much different problem.
The official description of Outcast is vague on Image’s website, as trying to explain all the odd situation in the pages of this comic series is difficult. They describe it in the following way:
"Outcast #1 cover art – Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment“Kyle Barnes has been plagued by demonic possession all his life and now he needs answers. Unfortunately, what he uncovers along the way could bring about the end of life on Earth as we know it. It begins here – with this terrifying new horror series from THE WALKING DEAD creator Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta.”"
Essentially, Barnes finally gets tired of all the evil behind him and enlists the help of a reverend to try to figure out what these demons want and why they are manifesting themselves around him. While jumping into a deep new series can be difficult, Outcast hits the ground with both feet running and draws in readers the same way that The Walking Dead did when it was released.
Including the first issue of Outcast with The Walking Dead Volume 25: “No Turning Back” could be a great way to introduce this series to a new audience. Fans who are hesitant to pick it up and give it a read might want to do so before it is adapted for a television series by Cinemax later this year.

The Walking Dead Volume 25 along with the free copy of Outcast #1 will go on sale March 30th, 2016.
