Fear The Walking Dead: Actor teases Tobias return to series

Tobias was a fan favorite during the first season of Fear The Walking Dead, but could the character be making a return in future episodes of the AMC series?
Fans of Fear The Walking Dead were introduced to a character named Tobias during the pilot episode of the show and led some to believe that he would be a regular part of the show going forward. However, when the poop hit the fan in Los Angeles, Tobias went his own way and left the Clark, Manawa, and Salazar families to fight for themselves.
This kind of thing doesn’t happen very much on AMC’s zombie survival dramas. In fact, there have only been a couple of occasions where the main group of survivors met another character that didn’t join the team or die on either of the shows. But with Tobias, there might be a chance that fans could get to see him again.

According to an interview on Melty.com, the actor who plays Tobias (Lincoln A. Castellanos) was asked about the his character on Fear The Walking Dead. The first thing that Castellanos mentioned was how prepared Tobias seemed to be for the apocalypse.
"“Yeah, it feels special to play someone who’s that smart on a great show.”"

While there is no denying that Tobias was one of the smarter characters on the show to be prepared for an outbreak like this, that also means that he could be a valuable asset to the group with Madison, Travis and others on the show. His knowledge of the discussions on social media as well as proactive approach would automatically make him one of the better survivors on the show.
So, Melty asked the question that was on everyone’s mind regarding Tobias: Will we see him again in future episodes of Fear The Walking Dead?
"“That’s a great question, and people keep wanting me to get down to it and just be clear with an answer. I’ll say this, in general as far as the series goes not just Season 2, I don’t think it’s a question of if he’ll come back, it’s really more of when. When will the time be right for him to return, and what condition will he return in?”"

It would be great to have Tobias return to Fear The Walking Dead to explain where he went, how things happened there, and how they would meet up. Logistically, it might be difficult for him to reunite with the former school counselor since they went out to see, but it is a television show after all, and anything can happen.
