The Walking Dead 616 and Fear 201 joint promo teaser

A new teaser for The Walking Dead’s season six finale includes a promo for Fear The Walking Dead’s season 2 premiere, which will both air on AMC in April.

This is an odd time of year for fans of AMC’s zombie survival dramas. With only three episodes left in The Walking Dead‘s sixth season, it is both exciting to see what will happen, but sad that another long break is waiting for fans around the corner.

But things are a bit different this year than they used to be in the past. With Fear The Walking Dead signing on for a 15 episode second season, there will be more undead mayhem just around the corner and the zombie-loving fun doesn’t have to stop. The Walking Dead will finish up season 6 on April 3, 2016, but just one week later, on April 10, 2016, Fear The Walking Dead will begin its second season.

The folks over at IGN were the first to debut a new joint advertisement featuring the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead and the season 2 premiere of Fear The Walking Dead. Here is the new teaser featuring both hit AMC zombie survival dramas:

While Fear The Walking Dead hasn’t quite reached the levels of popularity that its parent show has, it should be a great way to help fans get through the down time between season 6 and season 7 of The Walking Dead. It offers different characters, locations, and situations for fans of the undead to watch and enjoy. The action will ship out to sea, which is something fans of AMC’s original zombie show has yet to show fans.
