The Walking Dead season 6 DVD/Blu-Ray release date and info

AMC’s The Walking Dead may have just aired their season 6 finale, but fans can own the complete season 6 DVD and Blu-Ray when it is released in August.
Fans are still trying to regain their composure following a massive 90-minute season 6 finale that found Rick’s group at the mercy of Negan, but they shouldn’t have to wait too long to experience those feelings again on Blu-Ray or DVD for their own personal collection.
According to a press release from Anchor Bay Entertainment, it will be August when fans can have The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season DVD or Blu-Ray collection in their hands. Much like the sets in the past, there will be tons of special features, commentaries, and behind the scenes looks at the show.
Here is what fans should know about The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season:
"“The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season will be released on Blu-ray™ + Digital HD and DVD on August 23. Just like the previous award-winning home entertainment releases, “The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season” will take fans down “The Walking Dead” memory lane so they can relive all of the season’s most haunting and indelible moments.”"
More information about the content, as far as bonus features, additional content, and available commentaries will be released at a future time, but for now fans can circle the date of August 23, 2016 on their calendars as the date when the set will become available.
Of course, for patients fans who want the deluxe set, there will once again be a limited edition DVD and Blu-Ray release for The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season, but the date and specific items included have not yet been announced for that product.

The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season will be a great addition to the collection any fan of The Walking Dead. It has also been confirmed by The Nerdist that there is a second cut of Negan’s powerful speech to Rick and the people of Alexandria which is not suitable for television which will be included in this set.
