The Walking Dead: Universal Studios Hollywood casting zombies

The Walking Dead attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood needs walkers! Auditions are taking place next week for the zombies to frighten the amusement park visitors.

This summer at Universal Studios Hollywood, visitors and fans of The Walking Dead will be able to walk through iconic scenes from The Walking Dead and try to survive the apocalypse world they see on the AMC show they love.

The Universal Studios Hollywood website describes the attraction this way:

"Coming Summer 2016, enter the post-apocalyptic world of AMC’s The Walking Dead in an all-new year-round attraction. Prepare to fight for survival in a fully immersive journey as you navigate through a world overrun by hungry walkers. Follow in the footsteps of the human survivors as you battle your way through nightmarish iconic landscapes that bring the most popular cable TV show in history to life!"

In order to have the attraction be authentic, it needs walkers! And good ones. According to comicbook.com, they are looking for people to become those walkers next week.

In order to make sure the walkers are of The Walking Dead quality, Universal Studios Hollywood is getting The Walking Dead’s, KNB Efx and Greg Nicotero involved on the project. As we all know, Greg Nicotero and his team at KNB are masters.

"Interested actors are being directed towww.USHAuditions.com to sign up for an audition appointment. Auditions will take place on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6, expecting to attract over 1,000 prospective walkers. Actors are asked to show up with no make up or costumes on. (Via Comicbook.com)"
