Fear The Walking Dead’s season 2 midseason premiere date
By Adam Carlson
Fans of Fear The Walking Dead don’t have to wait any longer to wonder how long it will take before a new episode of AMC’s zombie survival drama will air.
After the midseason finale for Fear The Walking Dead‘s second season, fans were left with a little hole in their zombie survival drama lives. In fact, things were even worse because there wasn’t even a date given for the show’s return.

Thankfully, the folks at AMC didn’t make fans wait long, as it was announced on Talking Dead that the season 2 midseason premiere of Fear The Walking Dead would air on Sunday, August 21, 2016.
That means that it is closer to 3 months that fans will have to wait for more zombie action on Fear The Walking Dead, but at least there will be plenty of alternatives for people who need something to fill the hole in their television watching schedule.
AMC hopes that fans will tune in to Preacher, which will air in the same time slot as The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead on their network. Preacher is another comic book adaptation and will also have the benefit of a post show discussion with Chris Hardwick called Talking Preacher.
For those who aren’t into Preacher, there is Robert Kirkman’s new show Outcast on Cinemax. The first episode has been shown online and it looks like an incredible show for those who don’t mind their dramas to be very, very dark.
And, of course, there is always the juggernaut Game of Thrones on HBO which is already a huge competitor to AMC’s zombie shows, but it also a wildly popular show that is available for fans to enjoy as well.
