By Adam Carlson
The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman talked about his hit shows as well as crushed some people’s hopes at Hawaii Comic Con during a panel discussion.
Being able to ask questions to The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman is a double-edged sword. While he loves toying with the emotions of fans, he also isn’t afraid to drop some bombs now and then.

That was exactly what happened at Hawaii Comic Con as a panel at Hawaii Comic Con featured fans asking questions about everything in The Walking Dead’s universe. With how things ended during season 6, it is only natural that a bulk of the questions were about AMC’s flagship program.

Here are some highlights from the Q&A session:
A young fan walked up to the microphone as uttered a plea to Robert Kirkman to not kill Glenn on The Walking Dead. Of course, Kirkman couldn’t reveal Glenn’s fate, but took things a step further by saying “I’ll take that under advisement but it may be too late.”

Another fan asked flat-out which characters were going to die on The Walking Dead Kirkman let go some comic spoilers in his reply, stating “Rick, Carl, Michonne…in the show, Daryl Dixon, eventually. Abraham, Rosita. Rosita’s already dead in the comics. Jesus.”
Finally, another fan was wondering about the Glenn “fake-out” death earlier in season 6 and wondered if that was to create an emotional stage for the real thing happening with Negan. Kirkman’s response was both diplomatic and
"“Definitely not. When a show has been around as long as The Walking Dead has been around, it’s just a matter of trying to do things that are different. The thing was, Scott [Gimple] and I are always hearing, ‘Please don’t kill this character,’ Why did you kill this character,’ ‘Bring this character back.’ And we thought, ‘How would this work if a character was to die and be brought back?’"
