The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln is a Teen Choice nominee

Andrew Lincoln of AMC’s The Walking Dead has been nominated for Choice TV Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy Television at the Teen Choice 2016 Awards on July 31. 2016.
It’s that time of year again where media outlets will be recognizing the efforts of television shows and holding awards ceremonies. Among them is the Teen Choice Awards, which has been an annual event on Fox since 1999.

This is one awards show where The Walking Dead is typically fairly well represented. However only one individual from AMC’s hit zombie survival drama was nominated this year in the “first wave of nominees”.

As of this writing, there is no knowledge of who the host of the awards show will be or which musical guests will be playing, but odds are that it will be someone entertaining to the youth of America.
Here is what Teen Choice 2016 had to say about the first wave of nominations and what to expect in the upcoming weeks from the official FOX website:
"“TEEN CHOICE 2016TM, the summer’s hottest show is back with a brand new wave of nominees! Pretty Little Liars leads the television category with six nods, followed by The Vampire Diaries with five. FOX’s Empire earned four, and Scream Queens, Jane the Virgin, and The Flash each received three nominations. Captain America: Civil War, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice lead the TEEN CHOICE 2016 film category with four nominations each. Musical artists Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber round out the music category tied with three nominations each. Host(s), performers, presenters and additional nominees will be announced soon.”"
