The Walking Dead may not have a new episode on Sunday, June 5, 2016, but NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still binging on the AMC drama during a rain delay.

There are many fans of The Walking Dead who also enjoy a little bit of auto racing in their lives. Because of that, there were a large amount of folks looking forward to the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 at Pocono Raceway today, However, a rain delay pushed the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event to Monday night.

Many fans were disappointed by the delay, but it also put the racers themselves  in a strange situation. They’re stuck in an unfamiliar town for a day and have to find a way to amuse themselves until the race takes place tomorrow.

The decision of what to do wasn’t a tough one for racing star Dale Earnhardt Jr. to make, as he took to Twitter to tell his loyal following of his plans for the now available Sunday night according to Fox Sports:

Honestly, that sounds like a pretty fantastic night. A delicious meal like that and watching the most popular show on cable television is enough to occupy anyone, even if they are stuck in Long Pond, Pennsylvania for an extra night.

From the sound of things, Dale Earnhardt Jr is more than just a fan of The Walking Dead. It seems as though he’s also given some thought as to what the best way to survive the zombie apocalypse would be.

While Carl Edwards’ praise from Earnhardt to well in the zombie apocalypse was nice, that kind of thing will go out the window when the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 will be underway on Monday, June 6, 2016 at noon/11 am central.
