The Walking Dead reportedly filmed 11 potential Negan kills

AMC is going all-out in order to protect the secret of who Negan killed at the end of The Walking Dead’s sixth season, including filming 11 death scenes.

Fans of The Walking Dead remember the end of season 6 very well. With Rick Grimes’ group of survivors at the mercy of Negan and The Saviors, one of the group didn’t make it out alive. However, those watching at home had no clue who the victim Negan chose was.

Now, things are tough for The Walking Dead. With some verbal back and forth regarding spoilers and people camped out near the filming site to hopefully catch a glimpse of the action, AMC has decided to make things a bit difficult on those looking to find out what happened after the camera went black at the end of season 6.

According to an article on The Hollywood Reporter’s website, the popular zombie survival drama is actually filming 11 different versions of the Negan kill scene: one for each of the possible victims.

"“Sources tell THR that each of the 11 cast members involved in the scene have already filmed a death scene. The Walking Dead producers and the episode director will then work with the show’s editors and pick the character who does indeed die.”"

That decision will be hard to hide. Once The Walking Dead moves forward with their filming, the eagle-eyed spoiler people camped out near filming locations will be able to see who is on set for later scenes and be able to deduce who the individual to die is if the AMC show isn’t careful.

Being able to keep the secret of who Negan killed will be difficult to do until AMC’s flagship program returns for season 7 this October. However,. there is still a chance that The Walking Dead will be able to surprise their viewers with the Negan kill. But that will only happen if they are able to hide it long enough.
