The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus loves Game of Thrones
By Adam Carlson
Norman Reedus may play Daryl Dixon on AMC’s hit zombie drama The Walking Dead, but he also has a passion for HBO’s popular fantasy series Game of Thrones.
When it comes to television on Sunday nights, there seems to be two kinds of people. One of those kinds watches The Walking Dead on AMC first and others tune in to HBO’s Game of Thrones. This has created a bit of a rift in the fandoms of these two series that seems to be in constant discussion on social media.

However, there is no need for these quarrels. While The Walking Dead is a fantastic show, there is absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying Game of Thrones as well. The two show can be loved by fans and not used as measuring sticks to compare and contrast against each other.
This is why it was fantastic to see the man who plays Daryl Dixon confess his love for HBO’s fantasy series. Recently, Norman Reedus took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself with one of the biggest stars from the Game of Thrones franchise.
He shared a photo with Maisie Williams, who plays Arya on the show, talking about how great the Game of Thrones season finale was.

This love for Game of Thrones is nothing new for Norman Reedus. Last year around this time, he shared one with Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa Stark on the small screen for HBO’s award-winning series:
Norman Reedus didn’t hide his love for the other show, saying the “Season was So fkn good!!! Love this show ! That finale!”
For many fans, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are likely two of their favorite shows on television. Despite having a similar time slot, the two shows have managed to have fantastic and rabid fan bases who absolutely enjoy tuning in each and every week to find out what is next for some of their favorite characters.
