By Adam Carlson
Kai-Leon Herbert was one of the most highly recruited offensive tackles by NCAA teams and he made his decision as only a fan of The Walking Dead could.
Videos have been made parodying and honoring The Walking Dead ever since the show premiered in October of 2010. The popular zombie survival drama continues to inspire some of the most creative videos on the internet as the show continues.

One of the most creative videos inspired by AMC’s popular show came from Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Kai-Leon Herbert. Herbert is one of the most sought after high school football players, as the four star recruit has received numerous offers from many different schools regarding coming to their school to play ball.
In the video, Herbert is surviving the undead apocalypse and numerous zombies wearing shirts of several different universities are trying to get to him. Here is the amusing video from the folks at Bleacher Report:
As you can see in the video, Herbert plays himself in the video, and he is immediately in a world filled with walkers. He closes a chain-linked fence on the undead and the zombies crawl underneath.

First, he hides behind a tree and takes out the Rutgers walker with his fists. Next, an Ohio State zombie comes at him, which he tosses aside. More walkers in different school shirts come at him, and he continues to evade them all.
After dispatching all those zombies, Kai-Leon Herbert rips off his tattered shirt, revealing that he has chosen the University of Michigan to lend his talents to go forward. He says “Go Blue” and makes the Michigan “M” gesture with his hands.
Of all the videos inspired by The Walking Dead, this is one of the most fun and creative. Not just because it involves a highly talented football player, a college known for its sports programs, and zombies, but because of how this video was Herbert’s chosen method of revealing his commitment to the world.
