The Walking Dead: The Whisperer War part 1 early 2nd print

The success of The Walking Dead: The Whisperer War has Image Comics scrambling to release a second print of part one in the series.
There seems to be absolutely no end to the passion that fans have for the world of The Walking Dead. The rabid fan base of the hit AMC show is a monster of its own, but the comic book series from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment have built a very loyal following as well.

Major issues of the popular comic book series are always in high demand. They don’t tend to last very long on the shelves of retailers and comic shops. With several variant covers and limited edition releases, fans are always scrambling to have these issues in the collection or just buy them for a quick read.
Therefore, it is no surprise that issue #157 of The Walking Dead is in high demand. It is the first issue in the six part series “The Whisperer War” and could be more bloody and powerful then the previous “All Out War”.

Fans aren’t taking any chances on not getting a copy. They have been buying up copies of issue #157 like crazy. Sadly, this leaves retailers without copies of the book on their shelves for their customers.
To help make up for that, ComicBook.com is reporting that Image Comics will be releasing a second print of the comics earlier than usual to accomdate for the high volume they are selling.
Here is the info on the releases from ComicBook.com:
"“The Walking Dead #157, 2nd printing Cover A (Diamond Code JUN169197) and Cover B by Arthur Adams with colors by Nathan Fairbairn (Diamond Code JUN169198) will be available in stores on Wednesday, September 7th. The final order cutoff date for retailers is Monday, August 15th. It is available now for digital download and at comic book stores (if they haven’t sold out).”"

If you don’t already have your 1st edition of The Walking Dead issue 157, you may want to get out and buy it as soon as possible. Not only will it be highly collectable due to the importance of the issue and the high demand surrounding it, but it is a fantastic book that is setting everything in motion to discover the fate of everyone in the comic book universe.
