The cover for issue 160 of The Walking Dead comic book series titled The Whisperer War Part 4  was released and features Carl Grimes as well as Lydia.

By now, fans of The Walking Dead comic book series have to know that there is some crazy stuff on the horizon. There is so much going on, from the assassination of one of the leaders to a strange partnership between former rivals, the current storyline has a lot going on.

One of the least talked about plots in the comic book universe is Lydia. She is wanting to continue taking steps in her relationship with Carl, but also has no clue that her mother was just killed by Negan, with her head being used as a trophy for Rick Grimes.

This series of comics is called The Whisperer War wand will be a six part series. However, it doesn’t look like the issue concerning Lydia and her mother’s murder will be addressed until part 4 of the series.

As you can see by the cover of the upcoming issue, there could be a lot going on with Carl and Lydia at this point in the story. Here is that cover as was initially shared by Comicbook.com:

Of course, this is looking a bit ahead in the story. The Walking Dead has only released part 1 of the series so far, but it’s hard not to look at this cover and wonder how Lydia will react to learning Alpha’s fate.

Will she be relieved that she doesn’t have to worry about her anymore? Will she be angry at Alexandria for using her mother as a tool in the war? And will she hold a grudge against Negan if she is told that he was the one who did the deed?
