New Waves of McFarlane TWD Color Tops coming

Mcfarlane Color Tops are adding to the Red Wave and coming out with the Blue Wave for The Walking Dead 7 inch action figures.
McFarlane action figures for 2016/2017 have gone to Color Tops and Waves moving to 7 inch figures on stands in special collector packaging and numbers, retailing at $19.99.
The Red Wave for The Walking Dead includes Rick Grimes (#1), MIchonne (#2), Daryl Dixon (#6), and Abraham Ford (#7). Rick and Michonne were released in July. Daryl and Abraham are scheduled to be released this fall.
Daryl includes his crossbow and the head of the napalm walker (Stephen Vining) that he used to fight off Officer Licari (Chris Matt Cook) during the episode where they were preparing to rescue Beth from Grady Memorial hospital (Crossed)
Abraham is in his dress blue jacket that he found in the Insurance office while he was with Sasha in the episode where they got separated from Daryl (Always Accountable). Abraham had his staring contest with death with the walker and was rewarded with a box of cigars, an RPG and a dress blue jacket.

The Blue Wave debuts in January of 2017 with Carl Grimes (#15) in his guts poncho from the stand against the herd in Alexandria and a tribute to his eye injury that he suffered that night.
The Blue Wave continues in February with Paul “Jesus” Rovia (#17) in his blue beanie, layers of coats and boots and gloves. The negotiator from the Hilltop who let us know that our world was about to get a lot bigger.

Who might be next in the Color Tops? The 7-inch figures look quite detailed and nice. I do miss the 5-inch collection though. There are many characters that were never made. These are very un-play-with-able. They are more collectible and sit-on-the-shelf-able. The boxes are great for collectors who don’t even want to take them out of the box, but still enjoy them.
