Congratulations to Alexandra Breckenridge and her husband on the birth of their first child. Welcome to The Walking Dead family, baby Jack.

Alexandra Breckenridge, known to The Walking Dead fans as Jessie Anderson, is now a mom in real life. Baby Jack, who weighed 9 lbs., 1 oz. and measured 21 inches, arrived at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 3rd, according to People magazine, who got all the exclusive details and photos.

“When I first held my baby, the world melted away and I knew he was the most important thing I’d ever do.” ~Alexandra Breckenridge

Alexandra had a water birth at a hospital with a team of midwives and a doula.

"“I had the benefit of being surrounded by experienced, loving women, while being overseen by medical staff, just in case. Luckily, everything went beautifully and no interventions were needed. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I’m definitely an advocate for water birth if you choose to go natural.”"

Jack was not the first choice of names. Alexandra had another name chosen, but somehow she knew that she was having a boy and she knew that Jack was supposed to be his name.

"“We had another name for him picked out before he was conceived, but while I was jet-lagged in London, maybe three months pregnant, I had a weird feeling his name was Jack. I have no idea where it came from, but I just knew. The same way I knew that he was a boy. Call it mother’s intuition?!”"
