The Limited Edition Blu-ray of Season 6 of The Walking Dead is now available for pre-order and will be delivered just in time for holiday gift giving.

One of the annual traditions for The Walking Dead fans is collecting the Limited Edition Blu-Ray set with the special packaging designed by McFarlane Toys. We have a media alert from Anchor Bay today about this set that will be released on November 1, 2016!

McFarlane Toys has done it again creating a striking, must-own packaging concept. This year’s Limited Edition features the “truck” walker from the infamous rock quarry in the very first episode of Season 6. Handsomely crafted and intricately detailed, the figurine is based on the original walker designed by award-winning special effects make-up Supervisor and Executive Producer, Greg Nicotero. Packaging also includes a collectible 5-disc Blu-ray™ set digipack with exclusive “walker” cover art available only with this set. SRP is $149.99, and available for pre-order now on Amazon.com.

The Blu-ray includes all 16 episodes, brand new commentary, deleted scenes, six new featurettes, and the highly anticipated alternate Negan scene.

Bonus Features (Spoiler Alert!)

At Undead Walking, we like to add a little personal touch to our coverage of The Walking Dead. We have several articles that will help you enjoy your Blu-Ray experience. We have an episode guide, a timeline for the series, a recap of all the named character deaths and even a little marathon guide with recaps and reviews of each episode.

Next: Highlighting Season 6 walkers

We also have a little bit of trivia to add to your LImited Edition set. The actor who played the walker featured in the figurine packaging is Kevin Galbraith. Kevin has played a number of hero walkers on The Walking Dead, including the walker that Carl taunted in the mud at the farm, who eventually got poor Dale. Another little tidbit: the cast and the other walkers refer to the truck walker as “tight squeeze” walker.
