The cast and producers sat on stage for a one-hour panel at the New York Comic Con on Saturday to discuss the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.

Chris Hardwick moderated the panel for the New York Comic Con crowd at the Theater at Madison Square Garden during New York Comic Con for fans of The Walking Dead with a long row of seats on stage for the cast and producers of the show.

Andrew Lincoln was absent, but sent a letter to be read to the crowd. Thanks to the Twitter account for The Walking Dead from Skybound, we have some highlights from the panel to share with our readers.

More from Undead Walking

Apparently the season 8 opener will be episode number 100! That will be a fantastic milestone in the series. Robert Kirkman hasn’t had any trouble keeping the cliffhanger a secret, he thinks it’s been fun. The Norman/Andy prank wars are still going strong. Andrew’s latest was to push Norman’s motorcycle into a lake with a sex doll on it.

Alanna said what we know already that if Tara finds out about Denise, it will be very hard on her. Michael Cudlitz talked about Abraham’s character and Sasha and what there is to love about her. Danai Gurira said that The Governor was small potatoes compared to Negan.

They showed the panel guests a new trailer that has the internet crazy with emotions and new speculation.
