Fear the Walking Dead: Second Season BluRay and DVD Details

Anchor Bay Entertainment just released details about the DVD and Blu-Ray for Fear the Walking Dead’s second season on the heels of the recent finale.
Fear the Walking Dead just finished its second season on AMC and it is now set to head to retail on DVD and Blu-Ray. According to the press release from Anchor Bay, the DVD will hit the streets on December 13th with pre-orders starting November 9th.
The suggested retail price is $79.99 for the Blu-Ray and $69.98 for the DVD, but usually the sets can be found for much less than the SRP.* If you’d like a reminder from Amazon when the pre-orders start, click here.
Aside from all 15 episodes of the show, which is the main attraction, the DVD and Blu-ray contain bonus material, which is a big attraction for purchasing a DVD. There are audio commentaries, deleted scenes and special features made especially for the set.

Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead begins when and where season 1 left off at Strand’s home on the coast after the Cobalt mission and the escape from the city. The newly formed group board Abigail and head to sea.
Season 2 takes them to Mexico where several new cast members and characters are introduced as well as a new culture and perspective on death and the infected. Family bonds are challenged as the characters face difficult decisions in their survival.
The group is separated and reunited in different ways at different times and are forced to look inside themselves to discover who they are to become in this new world and where their loyalties will lie.
