The Walking Dead: Episode 704 will run an extra 25 minutes
By Susie Graham
The Walking Dead needs to give Negan extra time for his soliloquies it seems and has extended the 4th episode of the 7th season to 85 minutes.
The Walking Dead has had some memorable 4th episodes. Morgan found Eastman in the 4th episode of season 6. We lost Lori and T-dog in episode 4 of season 3 and welcomed Judith into the world.
In season 2 we learned of Lori’s pregnancy. Glenn and Maggie began their love affair in a pharmacy. We met the gross and cool Well Walker. And learned the legend of the Cherokee Rose. Other 4th episodes included Amy’s death and Carol’s banishment.
In episode 704 of The Walking Dead, which airs next week, on November 13th, Negan visits Alexandria! The Walking Dead is giving him an extra 25 minutes.

According to AMC, in episode 704, entitled “Service”:

We began season 7 with the brutal breaking down of our people by Negan in the premiere. We then found out where Carol and Morgan found some help and healing and met the grand King Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva in 702.
Episode 3, on November 6th, looks to focus on Daryl, who was extracted from the proceedings and taken by Dwight. Hopefully, we will start to see what ramifications the brutal premiere is having on our characters.
The world has become larger and it’s evident in how many people we have to check on now. We still haven’t seen anything about Jesus, Gregory and The Hilltop. Perhaps we will get a glimpse in 703 or 704 or we may have to wait until 705.

As always happens, the wait for the season to start seems eternal and then the 8-episode run to get to the mid-season finale snowballs as quickly as the real snowballs of winter that they precede.
So let’s enjoy each Sunday as it comes and appreciate each episode and how it adds to the story as a whole for the season. Next Sunday, we get to relish an extra 25 minutes.
