This week on The Walking Dead it appears Maggie Greene might become a liability to the Hilltop colony. Will Gregory hand her over to the Saviors?

Gregory’s Executive Decision

How long will medical care for Maggie last under Gregory’s watch? The saviors seem to have come sniffing around for clues or goods around the Hilltop in this week’s preview. Will the pit bulls have their chains loosened and cause a bit of mayhem around the colony? Perhaps Gregory is willing to bide for time by offering a tasty treat.

Offering Maggie up would buy goodwill with the saviors and especially Negan. It will also tremendously hurt Rick Grimes credibility with Negan. Now that Rick and Maggie have shown themselves unable to handle the Negan/Savior grouping, Gregory doesn’t have to play nice. Executive decisions have to be made for the good of the Hilltop. Decisions, decisions on The Walking Dead.

Rick Grimes subtly influenced by Negan?

Rick seemed quite influenced by Negan’s direction last episode. Sure, getting to hold Lucille was a test and reminder of disrespect but Rick was getting a bit attached as time went on. He went out of his way to take Michonne’s secret bag for Negan and his response to Spencer was savior-like. Asking Spencer to say yes after telling him “if he ever says anything like that again, he’ll knock his teeth out”.

Daryl Morse Code Web Shenanigans

Last week Daryl blinked a few times, so naturally fans were on the case. Full blown analysis has been done and the internet has adjourned for now. Resulting speculation: Daryl was issuing Rick Morse code signals to the location of Negan’s Sanctuary. This is where we are folks, next thing you know, the way Norman Reedus held a marker during an autograph signing was a sign to bite him like that one incident.

People actually thought Negan would take out Daryl in the Season 7 premiere? You’d have to be nuts or have guts of steel to make a business decision like that at AMC. We have people rewinding a 10 second portion of a segment where the man blinks and taking notes. Daryl is here to stay on The Walking Dead.

End of the line for Rick and Michonne?

Carl appears unhappy with the way his father is leading at the moment. Michonne, likewise, doesn’t seem too supportive of Rick’s decisions and not putting much of a fight with Carl’s stance.

Is this it for Rick and Michonne? Will Negan’s influence on Rick Grimes be the beginning of the end of this relationship?
