Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier delayed until December
By Adam Carlson
Season 3 of Telltale’s game series based on young heroine Clementine titled The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been delayed until December of 2016.
Previously announced to be released in November, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will not get a release at that time. However, the game from Telltale will get a release a closer to the holidays.
According to IGN, the third season of the hit game series based on Clementine will be released worldwide digitally on December 20, 2016 on multiple different platforms with physical releases being a bit more complicated.
Since the game is released in episodes like a television show, Telltale will continually work on the game over time and release each installment over a period of time. For that reason, the physical copy will come as a disc with the first episode on it. Included in the package is a code for the season pass, which will allow upcoming episodes to be downloaded as they are released.

"“Episode one will be available for purchase digitally for $4.99 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, iOS, and Android. A Season Pass containing access to all five episodes of the season as they’re released will cost $24.99.”"
Oddly enough, customers opting for a physical copy of the game will need to pay a premium to play. According to the pre-order on Amazon.com, the cost using that method of playing will run gamers $29.99.

No matter how you choose to play The Walking Dead: A New Frontier from Telltale Games, you’ll come out a winner. The first two games in the series were a lot of fun, and there is no reason to think that the third chapter in Clementine’s story would be any different. Watch for it on December 20th!
