The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will NOT be on PS3 or XBOX 360

Fans of Telltale Games will be disappointed to know that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will not be available to play on the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.
With a new chapter in the story of Clementine just around the corner, fans of Telltale Games series The Walking Dead are excited to see what is next for our favorite young video game apocalypse survivor.
The new game is titled A New Frontier and will be available on just about every platform available. From mobile devices, to consoles, PCs, and more, there aren’t many people who will be out in the cold from being able to experience the new game titled A New Frontier on December 20, 2016.
Telltale dropped some bad news on gamers who enjoy playing through their games on previous generation consoles by revealing that the game would not be released on either the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.

For most fans, this shouldn’t be a big issue. Many either have an Android or Apple device to play the game on or have upgraded to the Playstation 4 or Xbox One. Still, this has to be a little disappointing to those who have played through the other games on the previous consoles.
Here is the statement on the matter according to the official Telltale Games website:
"“The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will not be available on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 game consoles. This includes digital and disc formats.If you’ve played The Walking Dead – Season Two and would like information on how to continue your story on a new platform, transfer save data, or recreate your story via the Story Generator, please view our support article here.”"

Even though owners of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will need to find a different way to play The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the game when it is released on December 20, 2016.
