AMC’s The Walking Dead has given fans some great catch phrases and quotes over the years, but one has TV Line adding it to their 2016 dictionary.

The Walking Dead has given viewers many great terms and phrases over the seasons. It’s difficult not to want to include some of the saying made famous on the AMC show into everyday conversations with friends and family.

Some of the most memorable sayings have come from characters when exclaiming things or exaggerating on something that was observed. That was the case with a term used in season 7 of the program from the mouth of the villainous Negan.

In a recent article on the TVLine website, the author accumulated some of the best saying to add to their 2016 TV dictionary. Negan’s reaction when seeing the video of Rick Grimes when he first arrived in Alexandria provided the phrase.

For those who may have forgotten, here is what the leader of The Saviors said when he watched the video from inside the walls of Alexandria:

"“Is that you, Rick? Underneath all that man bush? S**t, I would not have messed with that guy.”"

‘Man bush’ was referring to the massive beard that Rick had grown during his time on the road before being brought to Alexandria. Negan is absolutely correct in saying the facial hair gives him a very rugged look which could be intimidating to some.

But Rick’s beard also had a bushy look that Negan immediately pointed out. And, of course, most women don’t have facial hair like that unless you see them at the circus or an exhibition of oddities.

Negan had been talking in past episodes about needing a shave when looking at others with facial hair. Although the man in charge of the Sanctuary shaved his face clean as well, it still makes you wonder if there won’t be more “man bush” talk in the future.
