Get the information you’ will need leading up to The Walking Dead comic book issue 163 titled ‘Conquered’ including release date, cover image, and more.
The Walking Dead turned the zombie apocalypse upside down during the war with The Whisperers. Now that the story of the war with Beta and his men is drawing to a close, there is was hope the survivors would have some time to regroup.
However, that is definitely not the cause. The Hilltop has been burned to the ground, Father Gabriel is dead, and there is a massive herd of the undead being marched right to the doorstep of Alexandria.
When issue 163 of The Walking Dead titled ‘Conquered’ is released on February 1, 2017, it appears as though Rick Grimes and the people of Alexandria will need to find a way to deal with this undead threat, whether they attempt to reroute the zombies or attack them head on.
Here is the standard cover for the issue that readers will see at most comic book retailers:
This cover is absolutely terrifying for numerous reasons. The arms of the walkers are reached high in the air, but among them is the hand that fans have come to know as Rick’s. While it is unlikely Rick is killed off during this comic, the beautiful drawn tease by Charlie Adlard alone should be enough to make fans worry about the character’s future.
The tagline that comes with issue 163 is an ominous one as well:
“In the aftermath of the Whisperer War: ALL IS LOST.”
Not only is the war against Beta definitely not over, but the horde of walkers and impending threat of The Saviors if they choose to execute the plan of marching on Alexandria is enough to change the entire dynamic of the comic book series once again and send it in a direction few see coming.
Watch for The Walking Dead issue 163 titled ‘Conquered’ when it is released on February 1, 2017 in both physical and digital formats to find out what happens with Alexandria at the hand’s of Beta’s undead army.
